Usually when Brody and I go to the park with the moms group, he just hangs out in his stroller, which to be honest is quite nice, since I don't have to worry about him eating any sand! Recently we started a mommy and me class and while we were at the park I thought it was time for Brody to explore the park a little more. We started at the swings, which was our first and last stop. He absolutely loved the swings! He just leans back and relaxes, letting the wind blow through his peach fuzz. I thought he'd enjoy the slides, but he was only interested in the swings. So for those of you who are at the same park we are, sorry, I think we're about to monopolize all the swing time!
We strum chords, fly through books, write our ABCs, growl like tigers, and steal milk cups

On the move
After about a month of dilligent efforts, Brody has finally figured out how to crawl! He loves being able to move around and get whatever toy he wants. I thought it would be great once he started moving around, and it is, but he thinks the funnest part of crawling is to crawl all over me when I'm on the floor with him. So we're working on crawl-proofing the house and hopefully that will tide us over for a while, except for the tiny little fact that he's already pulling himself up on everything so he can hurry up and start walking. Hmm... this boy sure likes to move.

Dancing or boxing?
My friend Lisa had warned me that when people box on the wii it looks like their dancing. Well the other night Justin's family came over to play the wii and Alyssa challenged Clarke to a boxing match. It was hilarious to watch them 'duck and jab', it totally looked like they were dancing! They were both really getting into it, so it was pretty funny to watch. Unfortunately we broke out the camera a little late so we only got the tail end of the match. It seems like the wii isn't just entertaining for those play, but those spectating as well! Who says video games don't count as family time? Hey Alyssa, better luck beating your grandpa next time!
