street performer

A couple of weeks ago we went to Disneyland with Justin's family and walked through downtown disney after lunch. The "street" is a lot like city walk or the gateway with lots of shops, restaurants, street vender's, and of course music on the speakers. Brody loves to dance and went into full street performer mode while different songs were playing, it was so funny! He actually got a lot of random strangers to dance too! Now there's just one question left to ask: so you think you can dance?

So I love to make homemade oreo cookies (or double doozies for all you gacc-ers out there), but I hate putting the dough onto the cookie sheets since your hands can get pretty dirty, so I always have Justin do my dirty work. Well he baked while I showered and when I came down stairs he proudly said he had a treat he made just for me. He made a HUGE oreo, the cookie was probably five inches in diameter! I wanted to laugh, but he was so proud! This treat was sweet reward after a bumpy day! I'd like to think I'm not an emotional eater, but these cookies can pull me out of any bad mood! Thanks sweetie!

are you curious?

Well today was the big ultrasound! As cool as the images are, I really can't stand that you have to hold 32 oz. of water! So the results are in: they're both movers! They tag teamed against the ultrasound tech, who couldn't get some measurements since they kept moving around! After all the measurements were taken, Justin was able to come in for the final part. She checked one baby, and said it was a boy! We were so excited for Brody to have a little brother to play with! After the second baby settled a little she told us: it's a boy! So we've got two boys on our way, and they both seem super busy and ready for action (does that remind you of our other little guy?) Although I was hoping for two boys, it's seems a little unreal, I guess I'm not ready to share my throne just yet! It's definitely official, I'm a boys mom!

first cut

At the time people started noticing Brody had hair, Justin and I started to notice he needed a haircut. We invested in some clippers (a smart move considering we have one boy and possibly one or two more on the way) and sat him down for his first cut. Surprisingly he did great! He looks so much older now with his new evenly cut hair. I was going to include a before and after shot, but lets be honest, he's so blond you probably won't notice the difference. Maybe after his runny nose subsides I'll include a shot of his new do.

let it snow

Well we took a little winter trip to Utah to visit with family, and got quite the winter wonderland! Some days we were snowed in and just stayed inside, which I always like, other than that we had family dinners, my niece Sydney's dance recital, a date night, some shade shopping, and of course got some projects done! Brody loved having some big kids to run around with, and I really think he's gotten faster since our trip(apparently it was possible)! Thanks to the Jessop's for the accommodations, I promise one day you'll actually be able to stay with us!

temple lights

At the beginning of the month we joined with some friends and went up to the LA temple to enjoy the lights. I'm always so amazed at how precise and carefully everything is decorated! My favorite decorations are the palm trees in lights, but that's mostly cause I know it's a warm weather thing! Here's some pics of our night, including a suspicious picture of Brody before he tried to climb over some of the light ropes!
